Free Friday Fashion Show at Old Spitalfields Market

At 1pm on Friday, 25th February 2011, Old Spitalfields Market is hosting a special ‘Fashion Friday’ event, including a catwalk show with designs from Oaklands College, interviews with the designers and a makeover show with stylist Kate Anya Barbour

Ellie Barnatt, Old Spitalfields Market’s events manager, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be teaming up with Oaklands College to produce this exciting, free fashion event for our shoppers.”

“The catwalk show will feature new and innovative designs from the students, who will be on hand to discuss their ideas and inspirations.”

Sarah Easterby, Oaklands College’s fashion course co-ordinator, added: “We have such talented students it’s fantastic for them to be able to show off their designs at Old Spitalfields market and give the public some insight into what really inspires them. It promises to be a great event.”

Stylist, Kate Anya Barbour, will be discussing the latest trends and hottest looks for Spring 2011. Putting together outfits available from the market stalls, Kate will be showing fashion lovers how to achieve their perfect style.
